Did you watch “The Amazing Digital Circus” by Gooseworx and Glitch Production? This dark psychological comedy, first aired on October 13th, reached 100 million views on Youtube in only one month. The story begins when a twenty-five year old woman puts on a strange headset and is transferred to the vivid and playful world of “The Amazing Digital Circus”.,
In the circus, she gets her new name, Pomni, from Caine, the ringmaster of the circus, and meets an ensemble of clingy, weird characters such as Ragatha, the calm and kind doll girl, and Jax, sassy and egotistical rabbit. What else did she see and experience at the circus? Watch the show and find out!
When I first saw The Amazing Digital Circus, I felt the same way as Pomni. It had a different feel from any show that I had watched before, and I was hooked. It seemed like horror, but also felt fun. There are still a few mysteries remaining, including the mystery of exit, and these really pulled me into the show.
The show gave me a weird, but awesome, feeling, and reminded me of 90’s video games like Nintendo 64. “The Amazing Digital Circus” is for all ages, so there is no gore or other explicit content. However, the show seemed creepy even without any gory representation.
The show’s unique mood trapped me in the world of “The Amazing Digital Circus”, and I cannot wait for the next episode. I am sure that “The Amazing Digital Circus” will introduce you to a peculiar world, and give some horror vibes!
